Reporting to DGM CS, perform all management functions in the area of logistics, supply chain and technical support for complete range of product lines supported by CS. The major responsibilities would include
a. Management of spares support to all CS service centers for effective and efficient CS operations
b. Identify stock levels, forecast requirements, place orders and manage/ monitor deliveries
c. Establish and implement process flows for timely availability of required spares to Centers
d. Ensure up-to-date record keeping, documentation and traceability of parts transactions.
e. Manage physical movements of parts in cost effective and time efficient manner.
f. Manage day to day logistics, supply chain and tech support functions to meet the relevant KPIs.
g. Supervise functioning, management and upkeep of main and regional stores.
h. Develop and implement effective reverse supply chain process flow for faulty spares for recovery and/ or disposal.
i. Manage team of technical information centers for fault rectification and to develop cost effective alternates for compatibility issues, obsolesces etc.
