Job Description:
The Senior System Specialist is part of a global team responsible for the implementation and support of our global Windows Server and cloud technology footprint. You will be challenged to "think out of the box" to ensure that we continue to leverage the latest technologies and solutions to support our business. If you're looking for a position where you're going to sit back and just "keep the lights on", this isn't it! You will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting our significant investments in Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, and related technologies. We are looking for someone with extensive experience building and operating highly available and resilient solutions based on Windows Server, Azure, and related technologies. Being a team player, and an individual contributor is key to this role. You will partner with internal stakeholders, and vendors in deploying and supporting solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our global Windows Server infrastructure as well as maintaining our Office 365 and Azure based environments. This position will be largely remote, but also occasionally come into our office for meetings, events, etc. Being part of an on-call rotation is also expected of this role.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years Windows Server 2016/2019 (Deploy / Support)
- 5+ Years Hyper-V/VMM 2016/2019 (Deploy / Support
- 5+ Years’ Experience with HP Synergy or Cisco UCS Blade Systems
- 5+ Years SAN Experience (Pure Storage or Similar) + Fiber Switch Configuration (Brocade or Similar)
- 3+ Years Azure AD Experience
- 3+ Years Support Exchange Online / Office 365 (E3/E5), etc.
- 3+ Years Support Intune
- Powershell Scripting Experience
- 3+ Years Azure – Experience supporting on a day to basis (IaaS, PaaS, etc.)
- Must be a team player with a collaboration mindset.
- Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast paced, team environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levels
- Ability/flexibility for after-hours work and escalations in support of our 24x7xAlways operation
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic environments
