Marketing Manager for a Medical Practice

Dr. Zaar Ltd., a leading brand in endocrinology and the largest medical weight loss practice of its kind in the world seeks to hire three marketing managers catering to 9 different divisions of the practice.

  • You should be a person who can stand head and shoulders above the competition to interact with skilled clinicians, savvy entrepreneurs, all media outlets, corporate sector, government organizations and departments etc. and someone who can understand that more than ever, medicine is a profession, but healthcare is a business.
  • This is the defined attitude for our top contenders.
  • You should be someone who knows the ins and outs of digital and non-digital marketing with at least 3-7 years in similar positions and who can present conceptual understanding of the following underlying principles during their interviews:
  • Patients are not outsiders to our business. They are our business.
  • A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.
  • What helps people, helps business.
  • Marketing is a revenue-generating investment.
  • Ideas without action are worthless.
  • Successful marketing is a team endeavor.
  • Good enough never is.

1. Professional Referral Marketing:

  • A reliable and continuing stream of inbound patient referrals from other medical, dental and other professional sources.
  • You will be required to write success plans with an unfailing system to preserve and grow the flow of professional referrals.

2. Internet Marketing:

  • From websites and social media tools, to patient portals and mobile apps, online marketing is a mainstream channel for our marketing, advertising and public relations.
  • Exactly how you use the muscle of the digital freeway will decide whether you are a waste of our time and money or the real deal.
  • We are one of the well-advertised practices on Google and Facebook. Other platforms, we‘ll take your opinion.

3. Branding:

  • We have stood out from the crowd in an absolute positive way, and it includes virtually everything that we ever did or you will do.
  • Our reputation is the real business we are in, and we successfully built it over the years as a very powerful, differentiating brand.
  • Meaningful and effective management of this reputation should be your absolute focus.

4. Internal Marketing:

  • These are the media strategies you will use to reach prospective patients that don’t know us.
  • Advertising in newspapers, radio, television, billboards and the like, your target audience MUST KNOW what we provide for their healthcare needs.
  • There’s little margin for error in external media budgets and we are the sitting experts of measurable returns-on-investments.
  • So please, come prepared with your homework.

6. Public Relations:

  • This includes, among other things, planning and generating healthcare publicity and free press such as newspaper articles or broadcast interviews.
  • How you get “free press” with careful market positioning, planning, good timing etc. will get your rolling to this immense position.
  • Whether you work with us or not—we are absolute experts on the above six ways to marketing.
