We are looking for a highly dynamic & creative individual with a strong technical background to lead our web development team working mostly in PHP & associated technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years web development experience including 2 years of team lead experience.
He or she should be well versed with the following technologies:
PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AngularJS, Laravel
The selected candidate will be leading a highly talented team of developers, designers, & QA engineers that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, analysis, through to UI/UX, developing, testing, and launching.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination with the clients to understand the project requirements
- Delegate the tasks to the team to ensure efficient productivity
- Follow company standards to ensure clients' satisfaction
- Track progress of team members and provide them guidelines
- Provide regular updates to the clients about the status of the projects
- Give necessary technical assistance to the team (if & when needed)
- Review team members' performance and help them in improving their weak areas
- Motivate & mentor team members
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 4 years of web development experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, XML etc
- Demonstrable knowledge of Database design, SQL and version control tools
- Good knowledge of developing web services, REST APIs
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, PayPal, Twitter etc)
- Strong analytical thinker, intellectually curious, attention to detail
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
