Our organization is seeking a (Purchase Executive / Manager – FOOD - Frozen Food (All Frozen Foods & All Icecream Imported & Local), Homeware (Kitchen & Crockery), Mens Garments, Tobacco, Stationary, Electronics, Magzine & Mobile Cards PRODUCTS) to help maintain our supply inventory levels and negotiate deals with potential vendors. The Purchase Executive will be responsible for learning company purchasing policies and procedures, and maintaining supply inventory levels required for effective company operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

-Maintain Records Of Goods Ordered & Received.

Locate vendors of materials, Equipment or Supplies, and Interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Control Purchasing Department Budgets.
Resolve Vendor or Contractor Grievances, and Claims against Suppliers.
Implement purchase strategy and policies.
Forecast purchase needs.
Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Order materials and services as per negotiated and appropriately approved, compare & evaluate offers from suppliers.
Review quotations.
Track orders & ensure timely delivery.
Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.
Develop and review purchase requests and ensure authorization as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase of new frozen food frozen food (All frozen foods & All icecream imported & local), homeware (kitchen & crockery), mens garments, tobacco, stationary, electronics, magzine & mobile cards products.
Help to lower the cost and secure agreements.
Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier.
Maintaining par level as per consumption and avoid shortages.
Work on his order schedule.
Near expiry items will be reported to Purchase Manager.
Conduct weekly market visits to observe pricing and new product induction
Review quality of purchased products
Monitor stock levels & place order as needed
Coordinate with warehouse & floor staff to ensure proper storage & shelf
