The Content Project Manager provides a critical role in the company’s ability to deliver on its mission and growth strategy.

Educative provides online training courses for developers to learn new technologies. Our platform includes pre-configured interactive environments. This allows learners to practice their new skills right away with no additional set up on their machines. The courses weave in quizzes and coding challenges that adapt the course content to the learner’s skill level, and the test code can even be deployed so the learner can see what he/she has built. This is a far cry from the all too common one-size-fits-all video monologues.

In this role, you will:

Workflow management:

● Partner with cross functional teams to shape agreement and plans for fast-paced launch calendars, platform improvements, feature releases, and strategic content.

● Oversee resource allocation to ensure delivery of courses and Edpresso shots in accordance with agreed upon milestones.

● Communicate proactively with stakeholders – third party authors, marketing, and other internal teams – on delivery status.

● Bring best practice approaches from Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and project management disciplines to content development processes.

● Define, implement and monitor productivity metrics for the team and individual contributors.

Content delivery:

● Prioritize, track, and manage intake and workflow processes, including new content requests and collaboration with external authors.

● Promote content development estimation techniques to forecast delivery dates and make efficient use of resources.

● Keep schedules and reporting up to date and facilitate tradeoffs when conflicts arise.

● Partner with engineering team to design and schedule fixes, features, and enhancements.

About you:

● Experience managing software development processes or online content publishing

● Previous use of agile/scrum sprint management processes, Kanban, or content producer processes
