Senior iOS Engineer - Mobile Foundations (aka “Core”)

What is the Mobile Foundations Team responsible for?

Developer Experience
Developer Productivity
Architecture
CICD
Building Services and Frameworks for faster feature development
Standardization and Automation
Mobile Best Practices
Mentoring the mobile team and teaching them what you’ve learned
Git repo management
Test coverage enforcement (via PR checks and teaching the team how to write effective tests)
Modularization
Business critical features and bug fixes (i.e. payment, checkout, cart, critical crashes)
Performance Monitoring
Feature Flagging
Bug Triage
Xcode configuration and build scripts (Gradle for Android counterpart)
Core Data (Room for Android)
Build Tooling
Networking (APIClient)
Fastlane

You don’t need to have expertise in all of these fields, but prior experience is preferred. If you find yourself more interested in building the “Foundation” of a feature, rather than the UI/UX, this team is for you! Bonus points for having been a part of a technical initiatives team.
