Planning Engineer - Civil

Elite Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. is the leading EPC Contracting Company providing infrastructure solutions to Oil Marketing Companies in Pakistan. We require qualified, experience and career-oriented candidates for the position of PLANNING ENGINEER for our Oil & Gas Sector Project.

Planning Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

The Planning Engineer is required to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of Oil & Gas Sector project activities, in conjunction with the Project Manager, in order to ensure the project is completed timely, safely, and within the budget.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Scheduling, planning and overseeing the entire program of work

• Resource Planning

• Planning, organizing, and coordinating planning activities

• Selecting the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope

• Inputs the work breakdown structure information in means to assess an accurate forecast on time, resources and cash flow of the project

· Maintaining and updating equipment technical records, preparing technical reports, helping in generating data for inputs to budgets, improvement in maintenance methods/procedures, equipment replacement, etc.

· Ensuring following of relevant fire & safety procedures and policies

• Determining appropriate logistics solution in managing resources

• Setting up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates

• Verifying critical path and interfacing between design/ engineering/ procurement / execution

• Monitoring progress periodically and comparing it with the baseline planning

• Getting daily updates from execution teams and updating the schedule based on inputs received from project team.

• Preparing the monthly Progress reports

• Prepares the monthly Labor histograms

• Accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning

Skills Requirements:

• B. Tech/BS in Civil Engineering

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in planning of civil projects in oil and gas sector .

• Excellent grip over project management software, such as Primavera and computer literate

• Excellent Reporting & Communication Skills

• Interpersonal skill, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement
