CONCEPT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supervision of construction work including civil, mechanical and electrical work on project and preparation of site for inspections.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attending briefings, taking notes and obtaining requisite Site documents to monitor/execute site construction (civil work, mechanical and electrical work).
- Ensuring that labour and/or material as per BOQ is delivered at site on time by contractor as per his scope of work.
- Ensuring that equipment required for project work is made available by contractor at site on time.
- Monitor and report progress, quality and deadlines position of site construction activities.
- Personal presence at all stages of construction viz. demarcation, excavation, pouring of concrete, mechanical fabrication work, electrical work.
- Following up sub-contractors to expedite work ensuring quality.
- Immediately report to sub-contractor and concerned Construction Engineer about any deviations/defects in quality, delays or other problems.
- Best utilization of company resources.
- Request Construction Engineer/Construction Manager to stop construction or erection work if quality is not satisfactory.
- Inform Construction Engineer/Manager if any additional work is required to be done due to site specific problems and allow commencement of the said work if approval from competent authority is received.
- Assisting CE in verification of sub-contractor bills and reporting thereon any deviations and/or defects.
- Preparing Site Activity Report to document work done while on site duty.
- Keeping vigilance on all site related matters and reporting the same to CE.
