Big Data SME/Architect (Trainer) – REMOTE

We currently augment our clients with project support offerings across several Technologies, Android and iPhone Mobile Development, AWS, Big Data, Data Science, O365, and Azure. Job Requirements:

7+ Years of professional experience in the IT Industry
Bachelor’s Degree in the Computer Science or related field
Fluent English (written/spoken)
Strong knowledge in back-end programming, specifically Java/Scala
2+ years of experience in teaching or training
Must have a laptop

Skills

Able to train/mentor/coach in coding (mandatory python and SQL, java or C++)
Demonstrated knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent English (written/spoken)
Proven understanding with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, and HBase
Good aptitude in multi-threading and concurrency concepts
Empathy and service attitude
Fast-paced
Project Management experience
Desirable previous international experience (US, Canada, or Europe)
Leading consultants to grow and create tangible benefits and assets.

Main responsibilities of the position…

Interviewing potential consultants to ensure all onboarding employees will be successful in Big Data domains prior to each onboarding.
The design, development, and maintenance of our best-in-class Big Data/Hadoop development training materials
Training, guiding and mentoring junior to mid-level developers.
Preparing mock interview situations to enhance the esteemed learning process provided by the company.
Acting as a primary resource for individuals working on a variety of projects throughout the UK
Interacting with our Executive and Sales team to ensure that projects and employees are appropriately matched.
Prepping consultants for interviews for specific assignments involving the development and implementation of Hadoop and other environments

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will not only possess a solid knowledge of Big Data infrastructures but must also have a fluency in the following areas (allowing for fluid interactions with other team members scattered across the entry to senior-level spectrum):

Location: Full-time position Working remotely

We offer: Full-time employment / Permanent contract / Excellent Base Salary + Bonus

This is a full-time contract position, hired directly under a UK contract.
