Salesforce Solutions Architect

The Salesforce Solutions Architect will serve as Ennovative’s resident Salesforce expert. The role will require being on the cutting edge of technology development and solving problems though technology and design. The Salesforce Solutions Architect will use digital technology to enable a more connected and informed business, as well as offer new answers to the organization’s most complex challenges. 

Duties:

• Provide the architectural leadership in shaping strategic, business technology projects, with an emphasis on application architecture. Utilizes domain knowledge and application portfolio knowledge to play a key role in defining the future state of the business technology programs.
• Work as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet organizational and customer needs.
• Serve as a “Subject Matter Expert” (SME), adding interpretive value to data presented or experienced insight into a functional process or issue.
• Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of projects.
• Maintain technical knowledge within the industry, leverage this subject matter knowledge within organization and customer facing projects.
• Contribute to the development and cultivation of business and vendor relationships.
• Display leadership and business judgment by anticipating organization and project needs and developing alternative solutions.
• Manage solutions, delegate resources, and help ensure quality assurance principles are met across projects and deliverables.
• May supervise the work of team members and support delivery team staff.
• Utilize a broad and deep understanding of the competitive landscape and corporate and business unit strategies to provide context for architectural decision making.
• Within area of responsibility, continuously pursue strong knowledge of business technology solutions and maintains understanding of applicable technologies, tools, and services.
• Establish working relationships with appropriate business technology solution providers.
• Leverage knowledge capital available through subscription research services that target business technology solutions.
• Produce technology roadmaps in support of company’s application portfolio vision and strategy.
• Monitor application implementation activity to ensure architecture and design principles are upheld.
• Ensure application implementation solutions support the business objectives (asset gathering, cost optimization, customer loyalty improvement), as appropriate.
• Participate in governance team discussions and provides a strong voice on critical decisions.
• Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes.
• At least 6 years of technology consulting or other relevant industry experience.
• 4+ years in a technical or functional lead role
• Experience mentoring and coaching others
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Experience managing senior-level relationships
• Experience presenting to decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
• Full life-cycle Salesforce implementation with strong expertise in the following modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud preferred
• Experience managing full-life cycle implementations solutions
• Strong people management skills leading small to larger team spread across geographies
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• 5+ years of hands on experience on Sales/Service Cloud platform and integrations
• SFDC Experience working in Lightning/Communities, APEX class / coding, Custom coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Workflows, CSS, HTML, Templates and Web Services
• Salesforce Certified System Architect

Preferred Experience:

• Previous professional services or consulting experience
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect
• Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
• Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Designer
• Salesforce Certified Mobile Solutions Architecture Designer
• Previous management or team lead experience.
• Experience in enterprise-level Salesforce projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success.
• Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds, as well as the Force.com Platform.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, and security controls.
• Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed Salesforce system and functional designs.
• Experience in documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, basic understanding of programming logic and constructs, specifically in Salesforce, and their use in software development.
