Looking for someone to provide oversight that will ensure that the software follows business requirements, functions as expected, and offers an easy user interface that facilitates intuitive workflows for the users, along with responsible for facilitating smooth testing procedures, working directly with developers to find bugs or missteps in business requirements. We’re looking for an individual who can quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities and assume ownership of technical deliverables and deadlines. ● Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
● The Software QA Analyst will support the current applications on workstations and servers as well as improve, update and code new or existing requirements for our DMS software solution.
● Responsible for system analysis, and decomposition of business and functional/system requirements to develop upgrading process, study and research for limitations and inappropriateness.
● Create in developing test strategies/plans, build up and implement manual and automated test scripts
● Actively involved in and execute comprehensive system integration test cases, analyze business and system requirements for the purposes of test planning and execution, define traceability from requirements to test cases and participate in the defect resolution life cycle
● Develop and execute test scripts, document results accurately, determine severity levels, and log and retest discrepancies encountered during the testing process
● Create new automated tests, update existing tests to account for functionality changes
● Design automated tests related to developers for consecutive regression testing.
● Document and report test results while managing issues to resolution. Correct software deficiencies
● Analyze, summarize, conclude valuation, and track bugs for renovation
● Recognize and propose solutions to problems related to product quality.
● Get involved enthusiastically in test automation initiatives.
● Guarantee that all domain knowledge and test cases are articulated and structured well to enable swift execution by any other members of the QA team.
● Continuously look to improve the efficiency of our build/QA/release/deploy/monitor process (via automation, new tools, etc.), driving towards the implementation of Continuous Delivery where possible
● Monitor and profile our services and processes to help improve the quality of our product
● Build relationships and work collaboratively in teams to identify solutions and resolve variances from product/application specifications
● Recommend and support development and implementation of process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency of Quality Assurance controls.
● Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
● University graduate in minimum 3-year related program from the English Medium schooling a must
● Proficiency with software testing principles and technologies
● 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
● Knowledge of one or more automated testing tools
● Knowledge and experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams
● Experience in using bug-tracking tools
● Strong knowledge of SQL Server
● Experience with Azure Devops a must
SKILLS:
● Familiarity with designing and implementing test plans, scripts and scenarios
● Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance
● Excellent skills in problem solving, planning, organizing and implementing testing efforts
● Proficient knowledge of structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and
maintenance of applications
● Experience in automated tools and version control systems on one or more platforms
● Goal oriented to achieve project deadlines through self-motivation, persistence and determination
● Excellent written and oral communication skills
● Ability to work independently and deliver with minimal supervision
● Must be a team player, and work well under tight deadlines
