List of specific duties, tasks, and responsibilities an accounting intern will be expected to carry out are
§ Help with month-end financial reports
§ Extracting Trial Balance from ledgers and make financial statements.
§ Ledgers Reconciliations.
§ Post entries into the Accounting Software.
§ Work under supervision of other accountants
§ Help with bank statements reconciliation, as well as accounts payable and receivable
§ Perform balance sheet reconciliation
§ Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports
§ Ensure the completion of assigned tasks in line with established deadline
§ Study the accounting policies and processes of the organization and abide by them
§ Compose and input journal entries into Oracle
§ File and scan journal entries
§ Do data entry and credit checks.
Requirements – Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills – for the Position of Accounting Intern
§ ACCA Part qualified or Finalist
§ Min Experience: Fresh or 6 months
§ Work full-time and 40 hours per week from 12:00pm to 8:00pm
§ Proficient in MS Excel and Word and Accounting Software’s.
§ Proficient in using Quick Books, VT and Peachtree.
§ Good in spoken English
