Act as liaison between internal audit service provider and the management
Assist in resolution of any queries or disagreements between the internal auditors and the management
Arrange meetings of the internal auditors with EL staff and management when required.
Arrange visits of the internal auditors to different locations and offices of EL.
Facilitate and assist the internal auditors in initial familiarization with EL staff, processes and environment.
Attend the meetings of internal auditors with audit committee, management and staff, unless absence is specifically requested any of the above parties.
Meet separately with the service providers to highlight any areas of focus or suspicious activities, and to provide recommendations based on routine observations.
Regular follow up with the management and staff on status of prior audit recommendations and convey the findings to the external service provider.
Review reports prepared by the external service providers and assist them in quality reviews of the reports prepared.
Facilitate communication between the service providers and managements with regards to reports and provide own suggestions in matters of disagreement.
Assist the service providers in carrying out periodic self-assessments of internal audit activity as part of quality assurance program.
Report to the Audit Committee on matters relevant to internal audit where necessary.
