Patient Registration
Provide test related information to the patients
Guide patients properly
Preparation of account sheet, dues & discount slips on need basis
Closing of credit card batch
Maintain file and records
Tally panel slips with Finance department
Verification of completed test history forms
Maintain Operations by following policies and procedures
Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
Verification of patient by reading patient identification on office copy before sampling
Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following lab policies and procedures.
Monitors glucose levels by performing glucose tests; recording results; reporting results to the pathologist
Performs bleeding-times and clotting time tests by entering results to the hematology section.
Maintains quality results by following department procedures and testing schedule; recording results in the quality-control log; identifying and reporting needed changes.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures;.
Home collection on need basis
Maintain Inventory of phlebotomy area
Maintain positive & professional attitude towards customers all the time.
Verify that the tubes are correctly labeled and the specimen is collected in the right tube.

Any other task assigned by the concerned operational head
