Design, deploy, manage and operate scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS
Implement and control the flow of data to and from AWS
Appropriate use of AWS operational best practices
Estimate AWS usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
Experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS
Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security etc) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution (VPC)
At least 5 years enterprise IT application experience that includes at least five years of hands-on software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture
Hands on experience with AWS and a strong understanding of AWS capabilities and limitations
Prior experience in a technical consulting role in a private, state, or local implementation project
Understanding of infrastructure and security requirements, such as HIPAA, CJIS, etc.
Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and work well with people.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from reputable university
