We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join our team and build a web-based application and server infrastructure from scratch. Unsurprisingly, it is a remote position. You will be working fully integrated in a small and highly motivated team that is working towards a new product launch. Expect a fast-moving environment with a high learning curve. The right candidate can evolve into a CTO.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a full-stack developer
Excellent working knowledge of React, Java, and SQL
Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design, data structures, design patterns, and algorithms
Having dealt with Python, AWS, Wordpress, and UI/UX design is advantageous
Ability to develop an application and server infrastructure from scratch
Experience working on and supporting a live application or production enterprise system
Working knowledge of CI/CD industry practices and tooling
Excellent communication and teamwork skill
Great attention to detail and organizational skills
Degree in computer science or engineering
Coursework in data science or statistics is a plus

Detailed Role Description

Work with product managers to create a web-based application
Build the front-end of application through appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective APIs and integrate these with external partners
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade application
Create security and data protection settings
Write technical documentation
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve the application
Have fun working in a high-energy team and learn everything about finance there is to know
