Director Finance & Accounts

Falcon Management Company Pvt. Ltd. (FMC) is looking for a Director Finance & Accounts to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities of departments like cash management, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Payroll, and Reporting. Director's responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our management team to align the work with overall organizations objective. This organization provides complete accounting and management services as Global Shared Services (GSS).

Position Summary

The Director will be responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s overall operations. This position will carry a broad base of financial management (analyzing, interpreting, implementing, monitoring, enhancing) and oversight responsibility to include general accounting, financial reporting, journal entry preparation, AP/AR, payroll, account reconciliation, variance, trends, productivity and people management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for providing financial and accounting support to departments and teams.

· Provides technical and administrative direction, leadership and coordination to direct reports.

· Consults with operations and HR in areas that may affect overall performance of organization.

· Recommends course correction to enhance productivity.

· Directly handles and/or coordinates activities for a broad range of functions including transaction processing (AP, AR, Payroll), fixed assets, tax, budgeting, financial reporting, analysis, allocation methodologies, and general accounting activities.

· Coordinates the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, yearly accounting close with Finance & Accounting teams. Ensures integrity of the transaction reporting to the general ledger and reconciliation of balance sheets.

· Apply financial and accounting expertise to ensure strict adherence to internal control procedures, compliance, and reporting requirements, along with readiness for all internal and external audits.

· Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate and supports other department personnel as required by management.

Job Specifications:

· Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent and relevant qualification is required with very strong conceptual clarity.

· 7 – 10 years’ of accounting / financial management experience with progressive increase in areas of responsibilities in leadership roles required. Previous experience working in GSS/BPO environment is required, while exposure to the restaurant industry/environment is preferred.

· Intermediate to Advanced MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) with Expert proficiency in Excel a must. Previous experience with accounting software will be preferred.

· Continuous improvement mindset with the ability and desire to develop creative solutions to problems and continuously improve systems and processes. Experience leading and implementing process improvement projects / teams.

· Ability to manage complex and dynamic situations requiring a well-developed sense of strategic and tactical priorities.

· High degree of autonomy, yet team oriented with ability to work cross-functionally within a matrix organization.

· Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and work in a high energy, fast paced, ever changing environment.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

· Requires excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with the clients in the USA and meet their objectives and deadlines.

It is a night Shift job, so only those candidates who can manage their time & transportation for this shift should apply. Company is not providing any pick & drop service at the moment.
