We are looking for a Technical Writer with 2+ years of experience. The Technical Writer will be working with worldwide development teams to write software documentation, user manuals, technical proposals and other customer-facing and internal technical documentation. The Technical Writer should have documented software and written propsoals in the past and demonstrate that you know how to look at code and explain it to all types of users.

The ideal candidate is a Technical Writer with a passion for detail and a knack for distilling complex information and scenarios into easy-to-follow instructions and examples. The work culture is a customer-driven dynamic environment where we are always adding new content and features to both the front- and back-end of software as well as new document types and styles. The Technical Writer should be well-versed in working with development as part of an Agile team environment.

Key responsibilities:

Write technical proposals
Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
Write requirements documents
Convert the user requirements into more detailed system in the requirement document.
Study product samples and talk with product designers and developers
Work with technical staff to make products easier to use and thus need fewer instructions
Organize and write supporting documents for products including powerpoint presentaion and products demo.
Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding
Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos
Standardize content across platforms and media
Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers
Revise documents as new issues arise
