We are developing app-controlled indoor gardens with conversational AI and advanced IOT technology. Herbot is a line of indoor robots that automate the process of home gardening and empower the next generation of urban farmers through affordable and sustainable organic agriculture.
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Product Development Team. This position is full-time and located in our Karachi office. In addition to paying a competitive salary, this position will offer equity, which could be very lucrative.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with product and engineering teams to iterate quickly on work, while ensuring that designs are implemented in full adherence to the prototypes and design specifications
Produce workflow diagrams, Wireframes, and prototypes of user interfaces
Working with developers to meet product objectives and sprint commitments in an Agile environment
Conduct and assist in user research to build and maintain user journeys, personas, task analysis
Creating custom iconography and other visuals elements as needed
Building clickable or interactive prototypes using tools like Sketch, Invision, and UX Pin
Working with developers to meet product objectives and sprint commitments
Contribute and assist in managing of the enterprise wide design system library
Qualifications:
BSc in Computer Science or Design or relevant field
A strong portfolio of finished projects and the steps that got the project there, such as user testing, interview scripts, user story mapping, wireframes, flow diagrams, research, etc.
1-3 years of demonstrated web application user interface design experience
Strong technical background with experience working in a lean and agile product development environment
A mix of B2C and B2B / enterprise software application is a plus
A compelling portfolio showcasing relevant work that demonstrates creativity, thoughtfulness and simplicity in interaction and visual design
Experience integrating user research into design practices
Expert in usability principles and user-centric design
Ability to comprehend complex processes and workflows
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate both with internal teams and clients
