Scope:

This role will have overall responsibility for the implementation of Trade finance Products within the GTB product portfolio, covering product functionality from detailed operational processes, transactional workflows and client experience.

Job Duties:

Drive the implementation for Trade Finance Product set acting as functional head for this product group. Insuring consistency in the product implementation globally
Own the Trade Development Backlog – Work with the product management, PMO office to ensure product implementation prioritized and to the exact specifications and expectations as set by Product Management, regulators, and clients working environments Product quality,
Ensure highest product implementation quality and usability.
Ensure all enhancements value is captured and agreed by the proudest management Expertise.
Domain expertise in Trade Finance products is expected to expert level with clear examples of product implementations at developed market covering all aspects from all aspects, products, operational processes and clients experience, act as a point of reference in business domain.
Support Product Management – monitor participation of team members in the working level product development teams.
Ensure the scope of each product build/enhancement is clearly defined in relevant Business Requirements Documents and touch base with the Product Development Head regularly to check that Product Managers are providing effective inputs and supporting key deliverables such as the development of test cases, standard operating procedures, and product implementation guides.

Team Development – development of team, team satisfaction
Stakeholder Management – effective stakeholder engagement.
Taking analytics driven approach to understanding markets, product performance and issues so problems are addressed in a fact-based manner
Develop clear understanding of the business requirements and clients pain point,
Challenging the team to explore alternatives to conventional approaches and solutions when designing new products and processes, e.g., ‘digital first’ mindset, encouraging buy vs build to speed delivery, partner with disruptors to access new markets, etc.
Helping the team understand where the biggest operational gains can be made and encouraging them to engage with Operations and Technology partners to re-engineer and digitize back-office processes to deliver service and product improvements.
Leverage external tool, fintech partners
Stay up to date with the latest technology innovation and trends, especially in the banking industry.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years senior product development experience in Trade finance with proven success in building enterprise level applications in Banking
Experience in agile product and technology development approaches
Strong people management skills
Strong analytical and data rationale mindset
