FINJA is looking for a confident, enthusiastic candidate with a strong hands on experience in LINUX. Responsibilities that come under this role are as follows:

· Ensuring Linux Red Hat Systems Administration and provide support in wide range of business impacted incidents, providing restores in a timely manner as per service level agreement (SLA)

· Prioritizing among multiple service requests, to delivery remediation of large complex environments.

· Securing the needed information to solve a given issue or problem.

· Breaking down technical details for non-technical audience.

· Troubleshooting issues and ensure skillset, needed to work through issues with technology partners, able to triage as needed.

· Duties will include 10x6 incident support, root cause analysis, and escalation; execution of scheduled activities and ad-hoc work requests and reporting.

Required Job Skills:

· Proficient with network tools such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, SCP, iptables,

· Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Citrix XenServer

· Ability to build and monitor services on production servers

· Knowledge of application protocols, services (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, UDP, SIP, RTP etc.).

· Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management

· Knowledge of servers and switches

· Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments

· Experience installing, configuring, maintaining Bind, Apache, MySQL, nginx, etc.

· Hardware and OS troubleshooting, Configuration, Backup, Security, Disaster Recovery, and Performance Monitoring

· Experience working with LAMP Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

· Experience managing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, & firewalls

· Experience with various monitoring packages (e.g. Zabbix, nagios, cacti, munin, etc.)

· Scripting (Bourne, zsh, Csh, Kourne , Bash Shell, perl and python)

Additional skills will be a plus:

· Familiar with: RHEL 6.x, 7.x, Blades, Containers, SAN/NAS Storage, Networking

· Operational experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)

· Experience with CI pipelines using Gitlab-CI, Jenkins, something similar

· Experience working with and managing DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket/git

· Experience in supporting SAN/NAS storage environment, LVM, Veritas Volume (a plus)

· Experience with Veritas Cluster and Storage Foundation (is a plus)

· Previous experience supporting HP, Dell and IBM/Intel x86 platforms.

· Use of Remedy and understanding the ITIL incident/change management process
