Implementation of security and data protection
Evaluate, implement and deploy new state-of-the art Backend technologies
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
Integration of data storage solutions

Skills

Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one python framework such as Django, Flask
Familiarity with API creation and RESTful services
Familiarity with some ORM (would be an added advantage)
Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT, Mercurial or SVN
Maintain code integrity and organization
Good communication skills in English
Knowledge of Linux/Unix Environment and commands will be a plus
Knowledge of web servers like Nginx and Apache will be a plus
