Working on the design of building systems for commercial, institutional, high-rise residential, and industrial projects.
Will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors in HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems.
Tasks will include creating mechanical system schematics, carrying out heating and cooling load calculations, routing and sizing ductwork and piping, laying out central plant mechanical rooms.
Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Be able to work with a team of designers and draftsmen to produce tender drawings for client.
Interface with multi-disciplinary teams.
Be familiar with current equipment and materials associated with the field.
Be able to work independently with limited supervision after receiving specific guidelines, industry standards, codes and specifications from the client.
Be able to work on multiple projects within a fast paced environment.
Interface with clients / contractors / suppliers.
