Job Description:
The Role
We're looking for a talented, smart SEO professional to help with the management and delivery of our organic search for the Spidersnet side of the business. Spidersnet is a full service web solution, primarily for motor dealers, but also equine dealers and boat brokers. You’ll be competent in the fundamental aspects of SEO, including on-page, off-page and technical.
There may also be additional work required for the wider Friday Media Group business.
You’ll be responsible for:
Ensuring smooth migrations for new customers coming onto the Spidersnet platform
Carrying out basic and advanced SEO audits for both new and existing customers
Liaising with admin and sales staff
Answering ad hoc SEO queries from customers and internal staff
Potentially assisting with tasks from elsewhere in the FMG business
Building out lists of bloggers for outreach purposes.
Skills Range:
Experience of Screaming Frog
Ability to identify toxic backlinks
Ability to map and test 301 redirects
Experience making recommendations for onsite content and metadata
Knowledge of local SEO
Ability to check rankings on websites
