A. Purpose of Job:
1. Ensure project progress and smooth client interaction
2. Take full responsibility of project activities and deliverables.
B. Main Responsibilities:
1. Prepare the project management plan
2. Manage and monitor the project, staffing plans, budgets, and minutes of meetings.
3. Plan and supervise project activities
4. Define and manage project scope
5. Resolve conflict between team members and departments like QA and Dev.
6. Resolve routine project issues during project execution
7. Review key project artifacts and documents
8. Manage project teams and resources
9. Perform regular project communication with the client and management and report project progress
10. Co-ordinate with Project Sponsor and project team
11. Understand the scope of the effort in terms of requirements, man-hours or functionality points
12. With the help of relevant leads, determine scope and evaluate risks
13. With the help of the relevant leads, define project parameters, i.e., time-lines, manpower requirements, risks, estimates, etc.
14. Negotiate, establish, coordinate and oversee the projects deliverables
15. Work closely with the smart sourcing department
16. Identify internal and external interfaces
17. Plan logistics, such as hardware, software, manpower, training, travel plans, etc.
18. Act as the ”client” for the local project team
19. Provide update (emails, phone, video calls) to the clients on a regular basis – especially all key stake holders

D. Minimum Skills Required:
1. Academic Qualification(s):
i. BS in computer sciences or related field (Preferably from North America or Europe)
ii. Professional courses in management (PMP / PgMP / Prince 2 / Six Sigma)
iii. Professional courses in project lifecycles, organization, integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, human resource management, communications management, risk management, procurement management, earned value management, and configuration management.
Sound presentation skills
3. Management / Interpersonal Skills:
Leadership skills: Must have the focus, confidence, charisma, and authority to drive the project
4. Experience:
Must have at least 6 years of experience in the project management field
5. Trainings (For internal promotion):
