Proficient at Linux based Systems Administration, including use of best practices for system-level security, configuration management, and performance monitoring of deployed servers.
Responsible to monitor different cron jobs that are running and act on them in case of failure.
Responsible to identify critical services and setup monitoring for them (and fix the issues), whenever a new design is implemented.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP Networking
Responsible to monitor critical services/APIs in current system and act in case of failure.
Network performance monitoring and troubleshooting the issues related networks.
Administration of Virtualized infrastructure for non-production/production environments
Provide Systems Engineering support to Software Engineering and IT operations team.
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve server failures and authentication/authorization problems.
Handle as-needed support requests for infrastructure issues (disk full, network connectivity, failed daemons, etc.)
Work in a very exciting, rapid prototype and agile development environment.
