Review and update supply chain practices (SOPs) in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws.
Ensure that all procurement process outcomes are documented; oversee compliance with all procurement policies, processes and procedures and governance frameworks.
Plan, lead, organize and control Procurement activities such as bid process, cost (budget) and inventory, negotiation contract, resolving claims and complaint etc.
Develop procedures for coordination of Procurement management with other functional areas, such as plant, marketing, finance, institutes or quality assurance.
Train and mentor Procurement employees.
Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the procurement perspective.
Approve all Purchase requests with respect to comparative statements.
Appraise vendor ability through on-site visits and measurements.
Actively contribute to the Group Procurement culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
Provide & manage system documentation approvals, procurement schedule and ensure program conflict resolution is resolved.
Provide advice on procurement matters to the business during planning and strategic activities.
Compare proposals for price and specifications.
Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs.
Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.
