Job Summary:Gate Healthcare 1 Pak (Private) Limited is an emerging 270 bedded multi-specialty facility located in Lahore, Pakistan. The hospital which will be commencing operations in Q1 2018, is part of an international healthcare group whose mission is to provide quality healthcare to the aspiring middle classes in Pakistan, through investment in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.
We are looking for a competent Manager (IT) to Plan, Design, maintain, upgrade and manage our ICT Infrastructure. Resourcefulness is a necessary in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan, Design, implement and configuring ICT Infrastructure
· Manage the ICT Team and Operations
· Monitoring systems, performance tuning and troubleshooting
· Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
· Install and configure software and hardware
· Manage network, servers and technology tools
· Monitor performance and maintain systems
· Ensure health of the infrastructure, foresee and troubleshoot issues and outages
· Ensure backups and recovery
· Upgrade systems with new releases and models
· Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
· Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Eligibility Criteria:
· BSCS / MCS or a related discipline; professional certifications is a plus
· 10 years’ experience in similar administrative role (Healthcare setup will be preferred).
· Proficient in MS Office.
· In depth knowledge of office management and basic accounting procedures as well as technical vocabulary of relevant industry.
· Familiarity with basic research methods and reporting techniques.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
· Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
· Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
· Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
· Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
· Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
· Excellent communication skills
