Position: HSE Executive

Experience: 2-3 years

Location: Karachi

Certification in HSE is must.

Implement the site’s safety program in accordance with regulatory requirements and the company’s safety policy.
Handle all regulatory inspections and ensure agreed actions are promptly implemented.
Conduct, lead and participate in risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
Outlining and updating safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards;
Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and keeping records of the inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements
Maintaining HSE records to ensure compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements and the company’s HSE policy
Leading in-house training and promotional activities with managers and employees about health, safety and environmental issues and risks
Participate in incident / accident investigation, review incident/accident reports and recommend effective mitigation measures
Being up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health, Safety and environmental legislation and any developments that may affect the employer's industry;
Producing management reports, newsletters and bulletins.
Involvement with project team on qualification of new equipment and modification on site.
Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, occupational diseases and environment issues, etc
Endorsement of permit to work system and on-site inspection to ensure safe work procedures are being followed.
Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality policies and defined procedures. Take management action on any violation of HSE rules. Bring out unsafe conditions and acts / procedures for correction.

Civil Defense Authority Experience is a plus.
