Takes the control of overall Hotel Management.

Job Descriptions:

➢   In charge of Rooms, Overall Sales, Restaurant and overall Management.

➢   Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring work process.

➢   Completes operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards; resolving operations problems; maintaining reference manuals; implementing new procedures.

➢   Controls expenses by gathering and submitting budget information; scheduling expenditures; monitoring variances; implementing corrective actions.

➢   Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.

➢   Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

➢   Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

➢   Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

➢   Meets restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

➢   Plans menus by consulting with chefs; estimates food costs and profits; adjusts menus.

➢   Controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; ensuring high quality of preparation.

➢   Publicizes the restaurant online and on social media by designing and placing advertisements; inviting food editors to review the restaurant; contacting local, regional, and national magazines with feature ideas; encouraging local businesses to hold social events at the restaurant.

➢   Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.

➢   Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

➢   Hotel managers are also responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services for a company or organization at the most competitive prices. They work in a wide range of sectors for many different organizations.

➢   A Hotel manager oversees supply chain management and procurement, possibly on a worldwide scale.

➢   They need to be good at negotiating, networking and dealing with numbers, as well as dealing with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues. Purchasing and supply management is an important role for any business or organization.

➢   Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels; 1 conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality; liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers; 4 identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them; negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided; keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future; scrutiny maintaining records in order to facilitate future transactions and keeping check and balance.

➢   Forecasting/foreseeing price trends and their impact on future activities; knows the sale timings

➢   Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

➢   Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and

*Determines annual and gross-profit plans

*projecting expected sales volume and profit

*analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.

*Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating

*Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share

*Advertising on social media and through travel websites.

*Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

➢   Hotel managers generate revenue by attracting customers from around the world to be guests at their establishment. Meeting with clients and arranging business deals are some of the primary job duties of hotel managers. Leadership skills, a proven sales record, and presentation experience help hotel managers to succeed in this career.

➢   Hotel managers are responsible for bringing in guests and making the hotel money. They may work with owners to plan sales promotions, set sales goals, and train staff. These professionals not only seek out business with individual guests but also typically meet with large groups, such as, traveling executives, and family reunions to stay with their hotel. Agreements with large groups allows for successful repeat business, which generates sales for the entire company.

➢   A hotel manager also sells prospective and current guests on the hotel's services, such as dining options, rent a car option, catering options, business conferences options, meetings options, as well as to notify them of room upgrades. Possessing complete knowledge of all of the services the hotel offers is important for making a successful sale.

➢   Use a consultative sales approach to develop long term customer relationship

➢   Identify, qualifying and selling to new prospects.

➢   Developing close customer relations through on site and customer visits.

➢   Establishing and maintaining regular contact with customers.

➢   Identifying business opportunities.

➢   Negotiating the terms of sales agreement as well as vendor’s agreements.

➢   Keeping in touch with market new trends standards and techniques.

➢   Hiring of housekeeping, front desk and F&B staff.

➢   Reporting to higher management on daily basis.

➢   Dealing with public sector organization like IESCO, SNGPL, CDA.

➢   Managing reservation software.

➢   Recoveries of credit from companies

➢   Business minded and Team Leader approach

➢   Follow up visits to clients, outbound calls and emails.

➢   Coordination with vendors for good supply like fuel, washroom accessories, printing material, stationary, uniform and crockery

 

 

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES

 

Responsibilities:

➢   Contract with potential customers and get appointment for detail meeting. Explain all facilities and amenities offered by Bella View Lounge to its valued clients. 

➢   Request for visit at Bella View Lounge to show them the hotel facilities.

➢   Signing of agreement for future business and finalization of all terms and conditions like room reservation procedure and mode of payments.

➢   Receiving reservations via email or call. Replying them by room reservation confirmation letter with all details of check in date, check out date, room rent and complimentary offers. If they need pick and drop, than manage accordingly.

➢   Sending invoices summary after check out.

➢   Follow up call or visit for future business.

➢   Find new prospects for future business.

➢   Making strong business relations by providing immediate response in all ways.

➢   On arrival of walk in customers, immediately respond them and show the hotel facility, replying all queries and if he agrees than allocation of room.

➢   One feedback of customers, improve the service.

➢   He has to construct a Conference Hall.

➢   Kitchen Upgrade

➢   Food Menu upgrade

➢   Company system systemize

➢   Make and revise company policies

 

SALES POINTS:

 

➢   The Occupation of rooms between 90-95% for smooth running of operations.

➢   The Conference Hall Occupancy should be 50% and earn profit 5 lac per month from conference Hall.

➢   Food Department Sale must be 1 lac per month.

➢   Earn profit from Mini Bar is 20-25k per month.

➢   Earn Profit from Rent a Car is 100k per month.

➢   Earn Profit from laundry minimum 30k per month.

➢   Earn profit from Tours is 1 lack per month.
