A leading utility-scale solar developer is seeking to recruit a Commercial Officer to work across its operational and upcoming projects. The existing installed capacity is 68 MW and additional solar, wind and small hydro projects are in various stages of development.
The position is based in Lahore with limited traveling requirement . Key responsibilities includes:
- Managing placement, renewals and claims of project insurance policy.
- RFQs, Tendering & Procurement for supplies for existing and new projects vendor Management and trade negotiations
- Coordinate and manage logistics and supply chain operations with various local and international suppliers and vendors.
- Generate monthly electricity sale invoices and liaison with counter parties.
- Dealing with banks (specifically with trade department) to facilitate international procurements
- Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Commerce, Business studies or related field.
- Minimum 2-year work experience in import section of company or trade department of bank. Prior exposure to trade/imports will be a plus
- Basic know how of Letter of Credit, Bank Contract for imports and shipping documents.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power point)Project Commercial management, Advanced excel reporting skills would be preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
