General Manager Production (Rubber Mixing Department)

Our Tyre manufacturing company needs an experienced General Manager Production responsible to run the unit, execute all SOP’s & policies. Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements. Troubleshooting for new Tyres & tubes, imperfections in the production steps or in compounding. Achieving production targets with low wastage % & increased productivity. Monitoring and auditing of products to ensure high standards of quality. We are offering competitive salaries and excellent benefits.

Duty & Responsibilities

Should have excellent experience in Formulation/Rubber Tyres & Tube Production, Experience in handling entire production unit right from Planning to Execution
Accountable for production, productivity, quality of our process & products.
Monitor, control and correct all critical parameters at all stages of production
Ensure proper utilization of resources
Be thoroughly conversant with all critical activities of Tyres and Tube Production.
Ensure in-process QC and its strict implementation.
Ensure proper consumption of Raw Materials and also final yield of the product
Provide insight and direction to the associates in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
Ensure that all the functional / operational and safety procedures are adhered during the routine working
Planning of various activities and co-ordination with Cross Functional Teams for procurement, Mixing, green tyre & tube & curing for the developmental activities
Review and approval of various documents like Product Development Report, and other lab Reports like Hold Time Study Report, Material Compatibility Study Report, etc.
Coordinating with various departments like Purchase, Sale, import & Export etc
Rubber injection and compression molding.
