Document Controller

Global Engineering Services (GES) is an electronic hardware design Services Company headquartered in Lahore Pakistan, working as an offshore office of Whizz Systems Inc., USA. Since opening our doors in 1999, we have developed a reputation for consistently delivering quality on time.

Responsibilities:

Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes
Data comparison
Timely distribution of the latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from the distribution
Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents
Creating and processing Engineering Change Orders
Creating and maintaining engineering documentation
Supporting design engineers in creating and modifying bills of materials
Manages the product change process

Requirements / Preferred but not limited to:

3+ years of experience with MRP systems; mandatory
3+ years of experience in documentation control in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding in the areas of Bill of Material release and Engineering Changes within a manufacturing process environment
Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workload for effective implementation under minimal supervision
Team player able to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
Experience with manufacturing documentation (BOM, Forms, Procedures) and Quality System

Education: BS(IT), BBA.

Location: Lahore

Shift: Night

Job Timings: 09:00 PM – 06:00 AM (MON-FRI)
