Bridges the gap between buyer and supplier
Co-ordination, negotiation and follow up with the factories
Co-ordination with all the departments involved
To select the vendor for manufacturing
To work in between the head office and factories
To take the sample on time
To give all the approvals on time
Planning of merchandise
Vendor management
To visit the factory time to time to check all the deatials regarding product, quality, compliance as specified in the manual
To merchandising development based on buyer’s objective
To interect with the various department of manufacturing unit
To do the costing
To send the samples to buyers
Development of lab-dip
To take the approvals from buyer
Procurement of fabric
To carry out the final inspection
To make sure that shipment goes on time
To interect with production department
To coordinate with quality
To the production planning
Every action performed should be documented properly
Must be kept safely and properly for future reference
