Overall management of the Humanitarian Assistance (CBDRM, DRR etc) component.
Lead the team in community mobilization, DMC formation, risk and vulnerability assessment, conducting awareness raising sessions, trainings to community and other stakeholders.
Coordinate weekly planning and review meetings at office level.
Ensure selection of the target communities as per the set criteria.
Carry out need assessment in the target communities.
Identification and selection of DRR related infrastructures and other interventions in the target communities.
Maintain Liaise with Govt. Line Departments and other relevant stake holders.
Develop training modules/brochures for project interventions.
Develop DMCs linkages with government line departments and facilitate in strengthening relationships.
Development and ensure maintenance and update of filing system and record keeping.
Work closely with partners and local communities to do participatory needs assessment.
Oversee program financial and material resources, in closed coordination with Program Officer, Finance and Logistic Officers.
Preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
Undertake any other responsibility relevant to the job description and assigned by the Program Officer.
