Great England Software a UK based company is seeking a Software Engineer to join our new operation in Lahore - Pakistan. Great England Software Headquartered in Birmingham - England is leading software development company providing software solutions to ITAD and IT recycling industries across the globe, our clients are spread across the globe from Newzealand to United States.
Based in Lahore - Pakistan you will be part of the team building software applications mainly in C,C++, GTK, Python and other technologies to support our range of software solutions.
- The successful candidate will be capable of taking ownership of a problem and seeing it through to resolution, and be able to translate customer requirements into a complete implementation.
- Good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
- You will also be responsible for the development of new software solution.
- The target architecture is a complex platorm with a mix of open-source and proprietary components.
- Tasks can include everything from high level OO design to lovel-devel OO design to low-level complete software application development and OS kernel programming.
- Hardware understanding is useful.
- Knowledge of real-time engineering, performance optimisation and thread-safe design are important.
Preferred Qualifications
- C, C++ Language (Must have this skill)
- Assembly Language
- Python
- GTK
- Strong experience with Linux and other open source platforms
- Bash scripting, Perl scripting
- Graphical User Interface development (Linux)
- HTML, Javascript, PHP, CSS and other web development technologies
- Networking
- Minimum of 3 years solid Software Engineering experience
Candidate should be able to demonstrate solid understanding of Software Development in C, C++ and software engineering principles and practices.
