GCS Information Technology Services, a USA Based, (Microsoft Midmarket Solution provider, Managed Service Provider) is looking for experienced and self-driven Data Backup Engineer to join our team in Lahore or Islamabad. This is night shift Job.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain all backup and recovery activities on/off-premise using multiple mediums.
- Perform quality control checks, ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of the backup systems, tools, and products.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation of operational procedures.
- Responsible for performing trend analysis for the amount of data being backed up and the amount of time the backups are consuming. Also responsible for proposing changes to the backup system which would improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the backup / restoral systems and processes

Required Skills:

1. Requires a BS degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
2. Experience creating, implementing and maintaining a backup system schedule
3. 2 years’ experience backing up both physical and virtualized servers using VMWare and Windows Hyper-V.
4. Experience installing, initial configuration and maintaining backup systems using tools like StorageCraft, Veeam.
5. Experience in MSP environment will be a plus.
