WHAT WE ARE LOOKING

GCS Information Technology Solutions Inc. Highly customer-centric Managed Service Provider is seeking experienced Senior System Administrators / System Engineers – Projects to help us continue to provide Secure Creative & Efficient IT solutions and exceptional customer service to small and medium-sized businesses in Chicagoland, IL and Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience presenting solutions to C Level executives and stakeholders. They will feel equally comfortable leading project meetings and working as part of a technical team to design and lead the implementation of solutions.

The Senior System Administrator / System Engineer – Projects will have excellent technical, troubleshooting, customer service skills, and will have a “yes I can” attitude.

They will be eager to learn and do more as well as share their experiences with their teammates to better the group.

Projects Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting clients as a member of our highly responsive teams, both on client sites as well as from our offices.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and servicing our clients’ networks and critical systems. You will take escalated issues from our Help Desk team as well as provide technical mentorship.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

Demonstrated technical skillset and experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read/speak/write at a high level.
Technical certifications from Microsoft, VMware, FortiGate, Dell, and other top solutions are highly desirable.
Knowledge of MSP tools (ConnectWise Manage; ConnectWise Automate; or similar tools) a big plus
Office365 Migration and support experience
Microsoft Azure / Hyper-V / AWS
Veeam / Barracuda products

The ideal Senior System Administrator / System Engineer – Projects will have experience working with a broad range of technologies and solutions including and should have experience training and managing local and remote teams.
