The Company

We are an established and recognized Global Web specialist who have a talented development team, based in Europe, focussed on building cutting-edge websites and applications for a portfolio of household-name clients worldwide. We have now opened offices in Islamabad to help facilitate our Clients further.

The Role

The 1st Line Engineer will be a key part of the support and build teams. As a 1st Line Engineer, you will have a good understanding of Supporting customers directly and have an eagerness to learn. You will report directly to the Line Manager, and have multiple opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

Working Hours:

4 Days on 4 days off
Early start working hours of 5am – 5pm Pakistan time.

1stLine Engineer Overview:

Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting website users at all levels, troubleshooting tickets and escalating issues to the 2nd and 3rd lines
Your key focus is to provide support to act as the first response to escalations, as well as assisting the senior website engineers with new builds and installations.
When not dealing with Client tickers, you will be provided with opportunities to grow your knowledge in the world of CMS and work on both smalllarge scale projects.

The Person

Skills / Experience required for the Service Desk Engineer:

Strong methodical approach in troubleshooting tickets
Great organizational skills
Self-motivated
Experience working with .NET technologies
Experience with Content Management Systems is advantage, especially enterprise level
Have a good understanding of ticketing systems
Excellent written and spoken English
Ideally have Managed Service experience
Have customer liaising experience
Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
Knoweledge of servers and hosting is advantage.
