About you You will be a qualified accountant, with experience of a leadership role, maintaining the books of account and producing management and statutory accounts. About Us We provide business process outsourcing (‘BPO’) of our clients’ finance function, working across three continents and dealing in multiple currencies and accounting jurisdictions. We maintain their books of account, prepare monthly entity and consolidated financial reports, budgets and KPI reports and carry out the financial control and finance director functions. We’re looking for a key team member who will help us to do this better.

Your skills and experience You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with lateral thinking to understand and solve the day to day financial and accounting challenges experienced in the businesses you will help run. As an experienced, senior accountant you will have been exposed to the ancillary but important day to day commercial activity that forms a significant part of a senior accountant’s responsibility – arranging and managing insurances, defining, choosing and implementing new software systems, managing the banking relationship and working with operational management to derive and use budgets to manage the business.

Reporting Working from our offices in city centre Islamabad, Pakistan, you will work in conjunction with the existing leadership team, reporting directly to the Group CEO who is based in the UK, supporting their work to provide the full Finance Director function.

Accounting systems We serve our larger clients working on the SAP Business ByDesign ERP system. You probably won’t have any previous experience in this system, and full on the job training and support will be given to get you productive as soon as possible. Our smaller clients we serve on QuickBooks Online with which you may already have some experience. The right candidate will be able to take on and lead in the use of these and any other accounting systems future clients might use.
