Purpose:                     

  • Overall Responsible for Human Resource Management of the group with an Objective to achieve optimum utilization of present manpower, using latest Techniques /Tools/ HR Software available for recruitment, retention, performance evaluation, motivation and Management Development of the employees.

 Reporting To: Managing Director/CE of the Group 

 Key Responsibilities

  • To initiate and finalize Human Resource planning in accordance with the strategic plans of the Group
  • Preparation of HR budget on the Annual basis in line with the overall Budget of the Group and its appropriate implementation.
  • Responsible for OD and continuous Change Management function of the Group
  • To develop and Maintain comprehensive program of Employee engagement
  • Recruitment of Staff as per requirements of the HODs/operation managers subject to the approval of the competent authority.
  • Development and implementation of comprehensive orientation programs for recruited employees at all levels.
  • Training and management Development of staff at all levels as per requirement of the management utilizing approved budget for Training and Development.
  • To undertake the exercise of Training Need Assessment as and when required by the Management.
  • Arrangement of training programs with in-house resource persons/external Resource person or utilization of specialized training institutions as per existing conditions/Training Budget and Training Need Assessment.
  • Undertake evaluation of training programs subsequent to the accomplishment of the programs and calculation of ROI
  • Evaluation of the employees after attending the training programs on continuous basis
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a judicious Performance Appraisal System for all levels of employees.
  • Training of Operational/Functional managers to use the Performance Appraisal System maintaining equity across the board.
  • Administration and compilation of Performance Appraisal exercise well within the stipulated time.
  • Development of a hierarchy of pay scales in the hotel after undertaking the exercise of Job Evaluation and on Going Market Rate with specific Reference to Competitors Pay Scales and Perks
  • To ensure that the pay scales are revised periodically in line with the changing economic conditions in the Market.
  • To keep an updated knowledge of the pay structure/ levels of the competitors.
  • To keep employees of the Group motivated, committed with the help of intrinsic and extrinsic benefits at all levels.
  • Development and implementation of retention plans to keep the turnover rate under control.
  • Development and implementation of succession plans for all levels of employees.
  • Responsible for employee relations such as transfer and promotions.
  • Arrange medical & group insurance of the employees as per Group policy.
  • Develop Judicious terminal benefits for all employees at the time of Retirement
  • To ensure maintenance of comprehensive data pertaining to employees and the dependents for all HR requirements.
  • To ensure maintenance of appropriate leave record of all employees as per Group policy.
  • To ensure maintenance of updated personal files of each employee with all relevant documents.
  • Responsible for the frictionless and conducive environment and corporate culture.
  • Handle disciplinary cases as per laws of land and policies of the Group
  • To ensure prompt and full payments of EOBI & Social Security as per law.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Master in HR / MPA/MBA with specialization in HR.
  • Experience of 10-15 years in HR field/function.

At least 5 years experience as Group Head HR in a structured Commercial Organization preferably in Manufacturing Sector.
