Operations Manager

Major Accountabilities

Supervise crane operations, coordinating with Crane Supervisor and ensuring on-time operations
Supervise & communicate with team, ensuring completion of work and managing availability of personnel
Supervise all maintenance activities, ensuring on time and effective maintenance
Supervise inventory of equipment and spare parts, ensuring appropriate storage and equipment availability
Develop checklists & formats for operations & maintenance reporting, determining and recording SOPs for the department
Submit and advise on resource planning, analyzing equipment and manpower needs
Plan & advise on spare parts purchasing, informing relevant parties of any parts required
Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with project specifications and OEM Manuals
Ensure quality control of equipment, receiving reports & feedback from personnel
Ensure all personnel conform to health and safety policies, procedures & standards as applicable
Provide input, utilizing experience to resolve any on site problems that may arise
Any additional tasks assigned by CEO/COO

Ideal Background (State the preferred education and experience level)

Education:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in Operations (Wind Power or Crawler Crane experience preferred)
Some travel may be required.

Computer Skills

Capabilities & Other Qualifications

Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, First Aid etc)
Strong English writing and communication skills
Builds & maintains effective working relationships with peers, team members & others
Ability to work with cross-functional team in a high paced environment
Extremely organized, flexible and detail oriented
Excellent critical thinking & analytical skills
