Gulf Skills is a multinational company with its offices in Pakistan, Middle East and Europe. Current position is for Pakistan and also for our international offices if candidate is interested to work abroad with better salary packages than mentioned here.

We have an immediate opening for a qualified IOT Developer to become an integral part of our team!

Any experience in the areas below will be benficial.

Duties & Responsibilities

· To research, build, test, and document state-of-the-art IoT solutions with integrated electronics and firmware development.

· To develop local IoT device software that includes monitoring, execution, and self-healing processes.

· To design innovative IoT services that communicate with server-side technologies and develop MEAN stack solutions wherever necessary.

· To learn the functioning of and implement new state-of-the-art tools/techniques to showcase experience in quick prototyping methods and structured implementation.

· To design and develop platform solutions for cloud-to-edge IoT applications with customizable configuration abilities for deployment to different clients with different needs.

· To work with dynamic IoT, Computer Vision, and MEAN technology stack to find solutions to complex real-world problems.

· To plan and build efficient tools to optimize support QA, deployment, and support services.

Qualification and Skills

· Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or related field preferred.

· 2-3 years’ experience in related field.

· Sound have Programming experience with Embedded C, C++, Node.js, Python, and MySQL.

· Experienced C, C++ programmer with hands - on experience in embedded system design, debug, and testing in an Embedded Linux environment.

· Should have good knowledge and experience in IOT Domain/ IOT Technologies.

· Experience on HMI Development using QT.

· Experience in bringing - up and troubleshooting new hardware.

· Knowledge in IoT Data protocols: MQTT, XMPP, CoAP, HTTP and Websocket

· Should Posses good knowledge and experience in various Protocols like TCP/IP, Ethernet, UART, I2C, SPI etc.,

· Should have good knowledge and experience in various Low Power RF Wireless Technologies / Protocols like ZigBee, Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, GPRS, etc,

· Experience with acquiring field data through industrial gateway devices

· Have worked with Raspberry - Pi and/ or Arduino board.

· Good understanding and knowledge about PLC and electronics, PCB design

· Should able to Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

· Ready to learn more technologies and to travel anywhere

· Good oral communication skills and confidence in dealing with a range of people, including clients, contractors, designers, directors and plant operators.

· The ability to work well within a team and under pressure.
