DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execution of all new jobs either direct or through electricians/fitters.
Attendance to maintenance operation and troubleshooting either direct or through electrician.
Fixing duties of electricians and helpers in consultation with the assistant engineer.
Preparation of material demand well in time for new works and maintenance.
Adherence the provision of EL. Act 1910, rules 1937 and all other laws in vogue.
Look after plant machinery.
Responsible for repair and maintenance on the plant such as drawing machine, various blowers.
Look after and maintenance of cooling water system, water pump, cooling tower, water softening plant etc.
Look after and maintenance of batch plant various conveyors, elevators, batch mixer, batch feeder, etc.
Maintenance of the top floor auxiliaries, such as vacuum pumps, cutting device, Glass handling system.
Looking after maintenance workshops.
Any other works which his seniors entrust him to do.
