- Lead and manage performance monitoring / optimization, trouble shooting, backup / recovery, and security management of enterprise applications (PeopleSoft Campus, Financials, Sakai, Koha, UniTime)

- Technical skills to troubleshoot WebLogic (PIA) and Tuxedo middleware.

- Manages application instance configurations and enterprise applications.
- Ensure that all patches, fixes and upgrades are fully researched and tested before being applied to the production environment.
- Configure, upgrade, and support relational database management systems (MS SQL, My SQL RDBMS).
- Design, develop, and maintain highly available application environments (load balancing and clustering methods).
- Resolve high level, complex, or previously unknown issues requiring expert technical knowledge.
- Make decisions under pressure situations; e.g. bringing the applications and databases up in case of unexpected interruptions in services.
- Communicate with vendors on matters related to customer support and product evaluation.
- Installing/migrating PeopleSoft and enterprise application VM’s on cloud.
- Manage SR queues and work with team members to jointly resolve issues.
- Perform patch validation, upgrades and installations in testing and production instances.
- dentify and communicate pertinent PeopleSoft and Enterprise Applications alerts.
- Provide future direction and guidance on application deployment plans
- Perform regular status reviews of problems/issues
- Interface with consultant and Oracle PeopleSoft support
- Be available to work in 24X7 capability and flexibility in work schedule
- Plan, define, install and configure PeopleSoft and other enterprise systems and procedures including LAN and WAN networks, PC testing, server hardware and operating systems.
- Monitor, analyze, tune and otherwise maintain enterprise applications performance Troubleshoot any issues regarding networks, software, hardware and operating systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and other staff to develop, evaluate, install and test software enhancements.
- Research technical and industry related issues in the PeopleSoft and enterprise applications area.
- Assist in requirements gathering, design, configuration, technical specifications, integration, data migration, testing, UAT, change management, documentation, training, roll out plans, pre & post implementation setups/configuration and support.
- Responsible for report development, interfaces, customization and enhancements for the Applications.
- Responsible for the provision of development, test and production environments.
- Responsible for monitor all activities related to integration of other systems
- Perform end to end integration testing using interfaces (technical team)
- Work closely with the other team members for interfacing, integration and mutual operations requirement.
- Perform trend analysis and initiate corrective actions
- Responsible for any other respective duties assigned by the department head
