1.      Solution Design

a.      Meet clients, along with Sales team, and visit project sites to understand scope of work and requirements.

b.      Design solutions to achieve the desired objectives and, if required, present the solution to clients and answer any questions raised by clients or their engineering teams.

c.       Work with sales team to create payout analysis to help convince clients about sustainability of the solutions for their business or personal requirements.

d.      Review and approve contract documents, including project design criteria, agreements, quotations and invoices submitted to clients.

 

2.      Solution Delivery

a.      Oversee project installation as per agreed specifications.

b.      Manage the required external parties and contractors, e.g. plumber, laborers, etc. required for project installation.

c.       Provide update on project progress and take responsibility for on time and on budget project delivery with high quality.

 

3.      After Sales Support

a.      Provide technical support to clients after project installation to ensure system delivery as promised.

b.      Conduct periodic maintenance checks on client projects for preventive system care.

c.       Conduct trouble shooting to determine root cause of any system issues and recommend appropriate course of action to client.

 

4.      Engineering Team Building

a.      Help to establish the Engineering function for the company, providing strategic support on the organization structure and helping to develop the required systems & processes.

b.      Provide support in interviewing and recruitment of entry level employees for the Engineering function.

c.       Lead on-boarding and training for Engineering team; mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership to develop their capability.

 

5.      Research & Development

a.      Lead the exploration and customization of new solutions that can be offered by STI to customers in the field of solar energy.

b.      Provide technical support to the Sourcing team in sourcing equipment and components required for solutions offered by STI.

c.       Help in qualification of vendors for various equipment and materials, e.g. solar panels.

d.      Stay abreast of latest technology in the field and share Best Practices in the organization.
