Job Purpose:
To plan, organize and lead the Store & Warehouse operations of Tana Netting Supply Chain.
- Prepare Stock Usage report (Opening Stock, Received Stock, Stock Issued, and Closing Balance) on daily &monthlybasis and send it to Head Supply Chain.
- Analyze store items movement and categorize them in slow moving, fast moving and dead stock items.
- Calculate and update “economic order quantity” for each store item and present to Head Supply Chain.
- Prepare variance analysis for each store item on monthly basis.
- Consult with Production, Engineering and PPC department on monthly basis to estimate required stock level and regularly define and update re-order level for each store item.
- Prepare monthly forecast for inventory procurement for each item list and submit to Head Supply Chain for accurate procurement decisions
- Responsible to ensure that the store keeper at time of receipt counts / weighs / measures, the stock after its clearance from Quality Inspector and fills the required formats.
- For every receipt in the store ensures to complete documentation of all stock received in store either in raw and semi finished forms, whether it has been received from vendor or from internal departments after processing.
- Ensure proper handling and stacking of stock according to company standards
- Supervise updating of the bin card on daily basis.
- Ensure proper stacking Heights and follow international warehousing standards for storage, as assigned by Head Supply Chain.
- Make sure that store keeper timely issues the required materials as per MRS (Material Request Sheet) on the basis of First in First Out (FIFO). As well as keep a sharp record of expiry dates of materials and keep Head Supply Chain updated.
- Responsible to ensure that the store complete their stock issuance documentation on daily basis. Ensure all the Store Issue Notes (SIN) are posted into the software on daily basis.
- Liaison with PPC department for material requirements of next day and make sure that store keepers arrange next day’s materials, before leaving so that on next day the 1st thing to get done is the issuance of material without delay to the concerned.
- Receive all unused stock from the production at the production order end, Check the stock for damages & enter it in the store return form.
- Ensure proper documentation for the damaged stock returned to vendors by assigning proper reasons and with all reconciled documentary records.
- Maintain proper documents and reports related to damaged stock as required from time to time
- Ensure cleanliness of store round the clock. And manage store according to 5Shousekeeping approach.
- Ensure Compliance to Safety regulations / requirements as per defined standards.
- “No Smoking” rule should be strictly observed in the store
- Make sure that no stock moves out of the store without signed Material Request Form.
- Assist accounts and audit departments for their stock audits at store and keep all the documents ready for audit as per auditor needs.
- Liaison with accounts department and forward them all the invoices with packing lists and other relevant documentation at the defined periods.
- Plan the disposal of dead stock items and get it approved from Head Supply Chain.
- Execute the approved disposal plan of dead stock items.
