The scope of the role is wide-ranging and will initially focus on the following:

  • Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.

  • Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the Campus consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of the University including instructional programs, extracurricular activities, discipline systems to ensure a safe and orderly climate, building maintenance, program evaluation, personnel management, office operations, and emergency procedures.

  • Supervise the instructional programs of the Institute, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes (teaching, as duties allow) on a regular basis to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and student growth and development.

  • Establish a professional rapport with students and with staff that has their respect. Display the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards when working with students, parents and college personnel. Serve as a role model for students, dressing professionally, demonstrating the importance and relevance of learning, accepting responsibility, and demonstrating pride in the education profession. Encourage all teachers to do the same.

  • Keep the staff informed and seek ideas for the improvement of the Institute. Conductmeetings, as necessary, for the proper functioning of the Institute: weekly meetings forFull-time staff; monthly staff meetings.

  • Use excellent written and oral English skills when communicating with students,Parents and teachers.

  • Should be able to work on Help Desk Software and Student Information System 

  • Prepare documentation for ISO 21001

  • Establishing and maintaining effective and efficient student service processes enabling appropriate and timely services to students.

  • Ensuring that the attendance records are maintained continuously and accessible/reported on demand.

  • Co-ordinate with faculty and students for the purposes of quality assurance, determination of their expectations/requirements, monitor satisfaction and obtain feedback. 

  • Should be able to represent the Institute on offical forums.
  • Monitoring student attendance, identifying students who fall short of attendance and initiating appropriate processes for such students.
