Working hours
Minimum work hours: 9 hours
Generally, work normal office hours in the lead up to an event, but may need to work extra hours, including evenings and weekends, closer to the event.
Responsibilities
· Par excellence in the floral arrangement of all kinds.
· Knowledge of flowers, cloth draping, table layout, balloon setup.
· Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, Vendors, helpers and events budgets.
· Research venues, florists & vendors for birthday décor then negotiate prices and hire.
· Manage and coordinate with head of department, vendors, helping staff, warehouse manager, operations and all event logistics (for example, venue, transportation & decor)
· Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate packs for corporate events.
· Handle client during event execution and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
· Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings, making a reference picture folder of events décor delegating to a team properly and making sure everyone has what they need to do their job.
· Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently.
· produce post-event evaluation to inform future events.
· Research opportunities for new clients and events.
· Manage Team’s time management, reaching on time at the day of event, double checking of all décor items.
· Remaining under budget with all costs.
· Making sure of every little detail from table laying to everything in an event, from the seating to the entertainment, must be set up in a practical and useful manner for the guests.
